ABOUT THE SJT

The SJT exam will be held between 12th March and 19th March 2025. The SJT consists of 60 questions in 115 minutes. There are two types of questions: Ranking and Multiple-Choice. This exam is sat in a Pearson Vue Centre.

The Situational Judgement Test is an assessment that assumes or requires no prior clinical knowledge. However, it most certainly can be prepared for and perfected like all examinations. This year the SJT accounts for a third of your overall score.

Through my preparation for both the DFT and DCT1 SJTs, I ranked first in the UK, for both examinations in 2 consecutive years. I achieved this by using my own specific techniques that allowed me to apply my methods to any potential SJT scenario that I faced.

In my full day DCT SJT course, I will cover my tried and tested techniques to allow you to score as highly as possible in your SJT exam.

ABOUT THE INTERVIEW

The DCT1 interviews are between 28th April 2025 and  2nd May 2025

The DCT2/3 interviews are between 6th May 2025 and  9th May 2025

Interviews will be virtual, with 2 panellists. The interview will last for 16 minutes. It will be split into 2 x 8 minute sections consisting of:

  1. A Clinical Governance, Quality Improvement & Professional Skills Scenario

  2. A Clinical Scenario

The two interview components will account for two thirds of your overall score this year.

The scenarios will no longer be released before your interview so adequate preparation is more important than ever.
